Eleni Randle – Director

How to say my name: Eh-len-ee (think Melanie without the M!)

I grew up in Worcestershire and, after a few years away with university and two roles in Staffordshire, I am now based in North Worcestershire with my office assistant – a working cocker spaniel, called Moose. I established Eldnar Consultancy as a result of a desire to progress my ability to provide multi-disciplined advice for clients with a modern, flexible and forward thinking, approach. The business has three main focuses – Planning, Valuation and Rural Consultancy.

My interest in my current career started early when I was fortunate enough to do a week of work experience on the Enville Estate and further work experience with Phipps and Pritchard after that. Following this I went to university and studied an undergraduate degree in Geography and Physical Geography where I was able to direct my final year modules and dissertation to subjects such as agricultural land degradation and farm diversification. This was immediately followed by a year at the Royal Agricultural College (now the Royal Agricultural University) where I completed a Masters degree in Rural Estate Management.

Since university I have undertaken varied roles within both the public and private sector which has provided me with invaluable experience; including three years as an equity partner with my last company where I was the youngest and first female partner in the firm’s 120-year history. I have continually sought to improve my qualifications and pride myself on being one of the most highly qualified and dedicated individuals in my sector:

  • Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (FRICS);
  • Chartered Town Planner (MRTPI);
  • Fellow of the Central Association of Agricultural Valuers (FAAV);
  • RICS Registered Valuer;
  • RICS Young Surveyor of the Year (Land) Winner 2019;
  • Small Planning Consultancy of the Year (West Midlands) at the RTPI Awards for Planning Excellence 2022;
  • Women of the Future Awards Finalist 2022 (Professions Category);
    RTPI Awards for Planning Excellence 2022 (National Finalists) – Small Planning Consultancy of the Year.

I am a former Chairman of Hereford and Worcester Agricultural Valuers (2017 – 2019). I was previously an RICS APC (Assessment of Professional Competence) mentor and assessor (rural and planning and development pathways) and continue to help those qualifying where I can, albeit on a more informal basis now.

Outside of work I enjoy seeing my family, our dogs and our horses and generally being outdoors.

ANNETTE FRANCIS – ADMINISTRATION & MARKETING MANAGER

Annette joined us in early 2023 having previously worked with Eleni at a firm in Staffordshire.  Annette is the first port of call for all things administration, organisation and marketing.  “Eighteen years of working in a surveyors and agency practice in various roles gives me the experience to deal with all aspects of the day to day in a busy professional practice.  I’m a real fixer and problem solver, putting customer service first, and can assure you that nothing is too much trouble for me.   Outside of work I am a keen community facilitator and event organiser, having co-founded several local heritage voluntary organisations in the Stoke-on-Trent and Staffordshire area”.

MOOSE (MOO)

Moo is our #officedog who loves to collect sticks, cuddle and generally eat biscuits anytime anyone makes a drink. If you come to the office, it is likely he will be here and he also comes on some site visits with client permission. A firm favourite with our established clients who often ask after him!
